OTHER VICTIMS WITH GERMAN CONNECTIONS
THE ROMANN FAMILY
Yarden Romann, a German citizen, her husband Alon and their three-year-old daughter Geffen were kidnapped from Kibbutz Be'eri by Hamas. Geffen and Alon were saved after the three escaped from the vehicle in which they were taken to the border with Gaza. We lost contact with Yarden at this point. Also missing is Carmel Gat, Yarden’s sister-in-law, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Be'eri by Hamas as well. Her mother, Kinneret Gat, was kidnapped and later on it was confirmed that she was murdered by Hamas.
THE ASHER-KATS FAMILY
On Saturday morning, October 7th, Yoni’s wife, Doron, his two little daughters, Aviv and Raz, and Doron’s mother, Efrat Katz, were loaded into the back of a van and kidnapped from kibbutz Nir Oz into Gaza. All of them are German citizens except the two little girls whose German passports have not yet been issued.
THE BEN AMI FAMILY
We lost contact with our parents at 10:07 AM after Ohad messaged that they were captured.
An hour later, we saw a photo of him in Gaza on Telegram. Two days later, on Facebook, we found a video of Raz surrounded by terrorists, being led into a Hamas vehicle.
Raz has an autoimmune disease and takes medication so we are very worried about her health and well being.
THE MOSES FAMILY
Gadi Moses, was kidnapped from their home before them, and also taken to Gaza. Hamas released a picture of him taken by 2 terrorists. Margalit Moses was kidnapped on Saturday morning, October 7th, from kibbutz Nir Oz. Hamas released a video of many kidnapped people from the Kibbutz. Margalit can be seen in it for 5 sdeconds, sitting on her mobility scooter.
THE HARAN, SHOHAM, KIPNIS AND AVIGDORI FAMILIES
Nine members of this family from Kibbutz Be’eri - young and old, women and children - were kidnapped on Saturday morning by Hamas terrorists who burned down their home. They were abducted and taken as hostages to Gaza.
SHANI LOUK, 22
Shani Louk (22), a German citizen, was abducted while trying to flee from the music festival in Re'im. She was last seen thrown unconscious on a truck with terrorists driving towards Gaza.
ITAI SVIRSKY, 38
Itai Svirsky (38) was born and raised on Kibbutz Be’eri and now lives in Tel Aviv. He holds both Israeli and German citizenship. Itai came to visit his parents on the Kibbutz for the Sukkot holiday. Tragically, on October 7th, both of his parents, Orit and Rafi Svirsky, were brutally murdered by terrorists during the massacre. Following the attack, Itai was kidnapped from his mother’s home and taken hostage to Gaza.
